I've been wondering what paper lanterns would like like in our bedroom. Instead of a bedside table lamp, I like the idea of hanging paper lanterns from the ceiling with light bulbs inside them.
What do you think of this idea?

I think it would look good but you may not have space left for the tables. I previously had one oblong shaped lantern on each side of the bed, and they seemed to be in the way (or at least how I hung them). Now I'd like to do a cluster of lanterns somehow in the bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog looking for ideas of hanging these in the bedroom. It doesn't seem like too many adults do it since everything else I've found is for teen rooms. I hope you post a photo of how you decide to arrange them!
FYI: The Chinese believe white paper latterns are a sign death, much like the color black in American culture.
